MPL Singapore has officially wrapped up its 10th season, and let's be honest — that's no small feat. A full decade of local talent, grassroots grit, and community spirit has turned this league into something far bigger than a tournament. It's Singapore's only professional esports league, and Season 10 showed exactly why it matters. With MOONTON Games and Pulse Nova Entertainment steering the ship, the season was a proper celebration of everything Singaporean MLBB esports stands for — and a look ahead at what's coming next.

One of the tastiest storylines of Season 10? Homegrown F&B brand iTEA jumped in as Presenting Partner — its first-ever esports sponsorship. The two teamed up for a nationwide push that invited fans to sip, cheer, and rally behind their local MLBB heroes. On 1 October, iTEA rolled out a new Sea Salt Pineapple Passionfruit tea crafted specifically for MPL Singapore, alongside the fan-favourite Osmanthus LongJing Fresh Milk Tea. The campaign came with serious giveaways too. Every purchase of any two MPL SG x iTEA drinks came with a sure-win scratch card, unlocking prizes like Diamonds (in-game currency) and exclusive merchandise. And during the Playoffs, one lucky fan walked away with flight tickets, hotel accommodation, and event tickets to Jakarta, Indonesia — all to watch the Season 10 champions compete on one of the world's biggest mobile esports stages.

Sponsors didn't stop at bubble tea. DXRacer came on board as the league's Official Gaming Chair Partner, equipping every participating team with its Martian Series chairs — built for peak comfort and performance. To mark its MPL Singapore debut, DXRacer gave away one Martian Series chair autographed by the eventual Season 10 champions. Talk about a collector's item.

Beyond commercial partners, Season 10 leaned hard on institutional and community support. The Singapore Esports Association (SGEA) and Futur Living joined as Partners-in-Esports, backing initiatives that grow local talent and elevate the Singapore MLBB scene. Frasers Property served as Official Venue Partner, bringing the season's finale to The Centrepoint — right in the heart of Singapore. Meanwhile, People's Association and SAFRA Yishun stepped in as Community Partners, taking MPL Singapore into the neighbourhoods and connecting the league with the grassroots.

Daniel Chew, Head of Esports for Singapore at MOONTON Games, put it plainly: "Season 10 reflects how far MPL Singapore has grown. Not just as a tournament, but as part of Singaporean culture. With the government recognising the role of MLBB Esports in inspiring youth, and homegrown brands like iTEA stepping in to engage fans — we're building momentum rooted in what Singaporeans care about. As Singapore celebrates SG60, our focus is on strengthening that local identity. We want to cultivate the Singaporean MLBB Esports ecosystem in a way that is authentic, community-driven, and uniquely ours."

The stakes were high, too. Season 10 featured a SGD 40,000 prize pool, with the champions earning a spot at the M7 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia. That meant Singapore's top team carried the nation's pride onto the global stage, showcasing the strength of the Singaporean roar at MLBB's flagship international tournament. Fans got to catch Regular Season action live at Tengah Community Centre on 4 October and SAFRA Yishun on 12 October. Matches, interactive activities, and a festive atmosphere brought the heartlands to life. If the attendance milestone of 200 people was hit, fans could earn up to 200 Diamonds each. Not a bad deal for a day out with loved ones.

Government support showed up loud and clear. The Adviser to Chua Chu Kang GRC GROs (Tengah) delivered a commemorative speech at Tengah Community Centre on 4 October during the opening week of the Regular Season. That moment underscored MLBB Esports' growing influence as a platform that inspires youth, nurtures talent, and strengthens community bonds. With the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games set for Thailand later this year, that endorsement gave extra motivation to players flying the #TeamSG banner.

The Grand Finals took place at The Centrepoint from 31 October to 2 November, along Singapore's iconic Orchard Road. The season's finale united fans and celebrated local talent right in the middle of the city.

Format-wise, MPL Singapore stuck with the community-driven tournament structure introduced last season. The Seeded Stage ran from 4 to 18 October, featuring six invited MPL SG teams battling for direct Playoffs qualification. The top four advanced straight to the Playoffs, while the bottom two had to face community teams rising from the Challenger Qualifiers. Those qualifiers played out across two weekends. On 4 October, community teams fought for the chance to take on two MLBB Rising Open squads, with the top two advancing to the Challenger Brackets. On 12 October, more community teams competed for the final two Challenger Bracket spots. This grassroots-integrated format gave Singaporean fans a front-row seat to fresh blood challenging the pros.

For the first time in league history, the six invited MPL SG teams came together in a nationwide effort to rally local fans behind the league. To give supporters a clear regional identity, RSG Singapore and Kingdom Esports represented the West, EVIL and Team Flash the East, and Absolute Zero and Ignite Gaming the North. Teams also ran their own community and marketing activities, unifying their regional supporter bases and showing appreciation for the community's continued support.

MPL Singapore also brought back its nationwide Talent Search programme. Under the guidance of industry professionals, participants gained hands-on experience in hosting, casting, content creation, and event production. The MPL SG Ambassador Programme continued as well, developing emerging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to engage fans and promote local talent while fostering closer connections with Singapore's MLBB Esports community.

Looking ahead, 2026 marks a major shift. Singapore's MLBB Esports scene will unify under the MLBB Esports SG initiative, led by Pulse Nova Entertainment in partnership with MOONTON Games. This central framework will coordinate community events, leagues, and tournaments, providing clarity, consistency, and stronger foundations for the local ecosystem. A cohesive calendar will give players, teams, and fans consistency across the year, while community organisers will have a clear point of contact to grow their initiatives.

Jayf Soh, Chief Executive Officer at Pulse Nova Entertainment, said: "Celebrating 10 seasons of MPL Singapore is an incredible milestone for our community. Community teams have always been a part of this league, and in Season 9 we made a conscious effort to place greater emphasis on inclusivity and community engagement. With Season 10, we're taking that commitment even further with the introduction of the regional split, giving fans stronger identities to rally behind and deepening the league's connection with the grassroots. At Pulse Nova Entertainment, our focus is on building an ecosystem where both professional and community teams can thrive together. By working closely with MOONTON Games, our partners, and the wider community, we are laying the groundwork for a more unified MLBB ecosystem in Singapore — a vision that will take shape through the MLBB Esports SG initiative in 2026."

Daniel added: "Season 10 is a milestone, but more importantly, it's a turning point for how we grow esports in Singapore. From new partnerships and initiatives, every step we take is to build a more sustainable esports ecosystem locally. As we celebrate this journey, we want MPL Singapore to remain a platform where local talent thrives, communities come together, and Singaporean pride shines through."

Ten seasons down, and MPL Singapore is still cooking. With fresh partnerships, a unified vision for 2026, and a community that keeps showing up, the next chapter looks brighter than ever. 🎮🇸🇬
